My comment:

Since India was under the rule of British for 200 years, several English words got accecpted into Telugu and other Indian languages. The names of the moths like March, April, May, are writtn as it is , in Telugu also. Hence for April, Peole write April only, but in Telugu script.

See any Telugu News Paper of April month. The dateline, or date of the paper would be written as April only.
