As with most Bengalis, Mr.Ray insists on using the letter 'v' to denote the 'bh' sound, not realising that although 'v' is pronounced 'bh' in Bengali, the reverse is not applicable when Romanising, and leads only to confusion. This is meant only as a guidance to non-Bengalis, and I mean no offense to Mr Ray. I would, however, appeal to translators to note this comment.
