Los mandatos son naturalmente revocables, es decir que están sujetos a la revocación, que puede darse por varios motivos, sean por circunstancias específicas o por la voluntad del propio mandante que otorgó el mandato,fijando un plazo determinado de duración.. Por tanto, la irrevocabilidad tiene que ver con la durabilidad del mandato, que permite al mandatario actuar en nombre del mandante, sin plazo alguno, manteniendo su vigencia en el tiempo.
