Ce fait en la presence & du consentement de Jacques, &c. aussi Maistre, & à present Juré dudit mestier." Clearly these are people who sign the apprenticeship indenture, but the implication is that they belong to the Master. Or are they independent witnesses? (One feels that the Master could draft in his friends to sign an unfair indenture....)

the current spelling is "juré". I'm not sure what substantive will work for you here, but look at the references, it should be there.
