MFZ Mehrzweckfahrzeuge

My comment:

The qustion is realted to Transport safety which is an important factor here and determines that we are talking about a MFZ

Nutzfahrzeug

My comment:

I guess the word "Nutz-" would imply multi-purpose use.

Irina's comments are correct, so, as the previous answerer said, it should be Nutzfahrzeug. Combiwagen is estate car and not as versatile as a multi-purpose vehicle.

"Nutzfahrzeug" hat im Deutschen den Geschmack von LKW, Traktor, Kipper ect. siehe auch nochmals die folgende Erklärung: MPV is short for Multi Purpose Vehicle. The term is popular in Europe and elsewhere but not generally used within North America; minivan is the nearest equivalent. An MPV is a passenger carrying vehicle based on a car platform, and is generally a one box design - neither a distinct bonnet (US: hood) nor boot (US: trunk), but rather a maximised interior space. MPVs generally have a flat floor and removable seats except for the front row, and give great flexibility of seating arrangements and c en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi_Purpose_Vehicle; eine andere Variante wäre "Van" oder "Mini-Van", damit ist aber eine deutliche Einschränkung gegeben.
