I agree with the comment about the first linkage (hitch) being subject to force and the other not being. (We always use the term "hitch" in American English.)

I do not know the whole sentence but if we are talking about techical meaning cars or trucks it is a trailer but it could also be for a crane. Identify more!! If it is for the automitive/trucking industry you are talking about trailers and the difference is that the Zwangsgelnk is for the first trailer i.e. the semi and the nachlauf is the second one that has no functions other then being pulled. Well I could go on forever here. Just explain your sentence more.
