Rosa (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Medical

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

SDLR

Context:

Examen clinique:
examen P.P.: APLS, pas de râles, pas de stridor, pas de SDLR

I just can't find this abbreviation, though I know the first 2 (P.P is poumons for lungs, APLS = antiphospholipid antibody syndrome). SDRA would make more sense than SDLR. I mean is this just syndrome de douleur?

RDS

My comment:

-> SDLR : signes de lutte respiratoire
cf https://cdim.fmp-usmba.ac.ma/mediatheque/e_theses/59-19.pdf
[ibid p. 6, 45]

-> (clinical) signs of respiratory distress

NB -> RDS : respiratory distress syndrome
