mai tumhe/aapko jeevan bhar ke liye pati ke roop mei paana chaahti houn.

My comment:

tumhe will be used if the setence is informally said and the person to whom it is said is at the same level as the speaker

aapko will be used if more formal dialogue is involved and respect is to be shown to the person being addressed.
