No Brasil chamamos este tipo de impressão de "hot-stamping"; o material (geralmente dourado ou prateado) usado para gravar é chamado de fita (fitas de hot-stamping = hot stamping foils).
Portanto, hot foil printed seria impresso com termo-transferência (ou impresso com hot-stamping, se o termo em inglês tivesse sido usado).
