standing water suction

My comment:

or stormwater (or perhaps puddles?). Anyway, there's a piccy of an optional accessory called this which has a sort of curtain to contain the water as it's being sucked up

groundwater or oil slick suction vacuum

My comment:

I'm afraid I'm not much help either, but "nappe d'eau" is "groundwater" and "nappe de mazout" is "oil slick" which seem like possibilities here
