acceptance of profits or rents as collateral

My comment:

This term can’t be translated by itself. It seems to be quite an unusual collateral guarantee arrangement. I think that it means that in case of default by the debtor, the creditor will take over the management or the lease or both of a good such as a farm or a business, i.e. ownership is not transferred, but the profits and/ or rents are. I can’t think of an equivalent in Common Law, so it’s tough to translate this.
How about “the acceptance of profits or rents of any goods as collateral” or something along those lines.
