church telephone

My comment:

the context is fairly minimal, but if you mean the phone line through which one can listen to a church service this is the best translation. Otherwise you can best translate to 'church telephone line'

church phone?

My comment:

More context, please. Kerktelefoon used to be a service by the phone company to allow people who couldn't attend a service/mass to hear it via their phone.

I got that meaning when I checked it out. But I cant figure out how it relates in a technical manner. Can it also mean emergency phone?
