Redundante Verbindungen sind möglich, weil die Software für direkte Verbindungen oder Modemverbindungen auf einem Dateiserver gleichzeitig vorhanden (oder auch: installiert) sein kann.

My references:

Fast ein falscher Freund: "koexistieren" ist m. E. deshalb fragwürdig, weil eine Software nicht existieren kann.
