art1234 (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

English > French

Subject:

Technical / Engineering

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

hard-curing

Context:

Sorry, wrong language pair (I chose DE-FR)

Keywords:

Should this not be possible due to the housing material (e.g. aluminium), an iron plate or a washer in the size of the magnetic footing has to be fixed at the measuring point. This is easiest done with the help of a hard-curing superglue (e.g. cyan acrylate glue).

The answer of Eloy  See profile was rated best

durcissant

My comment:

The meaning of this sentence is the use of a "durcissant colle" ("hard-curing glue") to fix the iron plate to the measuring point.
"Hard-curing" is a redundance, with the sense of "hardening".
Superglue is a brand that French people also know.
