I spent a long time trying to find
"relojito" on the Internet. I found newspaper articles from Spain (Galicia) referring to the ban on harvesting, but they were in Spanish. One article said the "relojito" is little known, even in Spain, because it's not very common. I found no translation into English at all, maybe because all the relojitos get consumed in Spain.
