Keywords:	she is talking about what people will do when they find out she got separated. I thought :they will bite me into small little pieces or analyze me thoroughly...Any other ideas?????

When you translate word for word it sounds weird use what you know as sayings and proverbs and you will be closer in guessing the right meaning.
