Context:

Sola acá en el country (barrio cerrado), me van a desmenuzar a pedacitos...

Keywords:

she is talking about what people will do when they find out she got separated. I thought :they will bite me into small little pieces or analyze me thoroughly...Any other ideas?????

My comment:

When you translate word for word it sounds weird use what you know as sayings and proverbs and you will be closer in guessing the right meaning.
