My comment:

This is only a guess. If this is a trauma case, then there might be a haematoma to drain. I have seen "ponction locale" on the internet. On the other hand, "PL" can stand for "ponction lombaire" though this is usually for diagnostic purposes rather than for treatment. Are all your recent queries about the same case?
