module (ou coefficient) de [la] corde

My comment:

Does this relate to a particular property of the fibre, such as elasticity or breaking point?
If so, I would suggest 'module ... de [la] corde' or 'coefficient ... de [la] corde' depending on the context.
More context would be useful.
