Kate (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Other

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

valeur de négociation

Context:

Par ailleurs, on pense qu’en valeur de négociation ce bie se vendra à ± #.###.### €.

Keywords:

usually this means "trading value" in a financial context, but in a real estate context, does this mean "negotiation value"?? thx in advance

Asking price

My comment:

Starting point for negotiation... the purchase price would be the definitive agreed price, but 'se vendra a' wd suggest that that point has yet to be reached....
