Kate (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Arts / Entertainment

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

show-man

Context:

Véritable show-man, prouvé avec le clip de XXXXX

Keywords:

dans lequel il ose et ça marche - just trying to think of how to word this in U.S. English - tia

entertainer/showman

My comment:

'Show-man' is a typical franglais term meaning a showman, entertainer or performer. However I'd just leave it as 'showman' as the English term carries the implication of stage presence, which is what you need here, given the context.
