Lo peor de todo es que era cristiana y, claro, como beata que era esperaba encontrarse con Cristo para que salvase sus pecados y bla bla bla... Pues vas guapa, señora. ¡Aquí no hay nada!

My comment:

"vas guapa" (as is "vas lista" or "vas dada") is a sarcastic colloquialism for eagerly anticipating something, but being completely mistaken about it. (Similar to saying "Tough luck" or "Too bad", in English.)
