My comment:
The Spanish version SHOULD read as follows:
El uso como macronutriente con características no higroscópicas, lo que implicaba que era un nutrimento de gran eficacia de absorción biológica, además de ser de amplio espectro.
"Alto espectro" doesn't exist, we say "AMPLIO espectro" !!!
The original sounds like Spanglish to me, or bad-translated Spanish.
