In the International System of units, Pa is pascal, unit of pressure, and pA is picoampere, unit of current. But people sometimes use non-standard abbreviations, such as PA, and no one other than the author knows what it means!
In this case, probably talking about and LED (Light emittig diode), pA is more likely, but again, who knows!
