My comment:

urinal refers to the actual bowl rather than the whole booth and sounds more respectable anyway- you could have a urinal in your own bathroom but not a pissoir ( note the correct spelling!)

however a urinal is normally calle pissoire. these are the large and long urinals specific to beer halls
