Pl note:
In English, 'council' = an administrative body, counsel = barrister. In French, no distinction is made between the two terms, which are both translated as 'conseil'.
In the legal context, one ussually prefixes 'avocat'.

My comment:

Ich bitte zu bedenken, dass die Rolle und die ASufgaben des council for the judiciary nicht in allen Ländern dieselben sind, wie in frankreich. Nur für Frankreich gilt also "conseil pour la magistrature". Im weiteren Sinne geht es jedoch um einen Rat für die Rechtsordnung - also deckt ""conseil pour l'ordre judiciaire"" die Funktionen in allen Ländern, nicht nur in Frankreich ab!
