My comment:
Cela dépend aussi du contexte. S'il s'agit d'un enjeu actuel, par exemple les risques de l'abus de l'alcool: la traduction ci-dessus suivi par 'on' + l'enjeu. S'il s'agit de les informer, la traduction "The aim being to inform the pupils about xyz" serait mieux.
