The Chief of Martyrs

My comment:

'SARTAJ' (not SARTAZ) means one who wears a Crown on his head or a Chief. You may call him a KING too.

'SHAHEED' is the word used for a person who is martyred. 'SHAHEEDAN' is plural or ' of the martyrs'.

To be 'Martyred' is to become a 'Shaheed' whereas 'Martyrdom' is 'Shahadat' and is the act of being a 'Shaheed'.

I hope this helps.
