Considero correcta la expresion, en ingeniería civil o de construcciones pandeo se refiere a la deformación de elementos esbeltos, aquellos de gran longitud en relacion a su sección. Los mismos terminan deformandose al medio formando como un arco. Las espresiones inidicadas en inglés se refieren a ello.
