Keywords:	..."mal-a-dit" pour comprendre que la maladie vous dit quelque chose...This is in an essay about how psychological confliect can cause one to be susceptible to cancer...The best I can come up with is "warning call" since it seems that the idea is to get that kind of conflict out of your life because of its negative impact, and here the author seems to be saying to not look at it in a totally negative light, i.e., to see some value in it.

"mal-�-dit" (bad to talk about) sounds exactly like "maladie" (illness) in French. So be aware of your words and thoughts. they make you more perceptive ... and we get what we see.

"mal � dit" (venant du d�coupage du mot maladie), pourrait exprimer dans le langage du corps le mal �tre de l'humain.
je crois que c'est l'aspect "�me" qui domine le sens de la douleur... soigner l'�me pour gu�rir le corps et �tre en sant�.

That's the idea, "the pain is telling" you something. Play on words are notoriously impossible to translate, your interpretation is as good as any.
