Si los sujetos son seleccionados �nicamente porqu� la puntuaci�n es extremadamente baja, despu�s de la pruba tender�n a obtener mayor puntuaci�n, independientemente del tratamiento. Lo contrario tambi�n es cierto. Ambos son ejemplos de casos extremos regresionando hacia la media de la poblaci�n
