Keywords:	Is it arbre de fixation ou arbre de rétention. We are talking about disassembling a electric chain hoist motor. The legacy TM shows fixation, but neither term brings anything on Google.

Seems to me that plate A is a part that fixes the shaft, either prevents it from rotating or from sliding along its axis. (pour) because you didn't put "for" in the question.

I think that fixinx here means repairing. But it all depends upon the context.
