beat us to the punch, seduction-wise
My comment:
This phrase means that this woman has always finished first in the close "seduction race" between her and her friends.
Coiffer au poteau comes from horse racing so there is a competition element to the phrase. I chose "beat us to the punch" for this reason.
Côté séduction, is a informal expression meaning more or less "related to seduction".

You are right, especially between women. At the same time, depending on the full context of the discussion and relationship, it could also work if there is real competition between them. The fact that it looks an informal talk (côté séduction) could also point to that direction.
