My comment:

Look at the left of this page, you'll see those triangle shape buttons.
In some programs, when you click on those, they turn 90 degrees and expand the list. Those are twisties.

Not sure about the context, but are they "twisties" in the sense of "binding combs" or "spiral bindings". If so, I would say "baguettes de reliure" ou "reliures" (métalliques ou plastiques)
