My comment:

From the context this sounds as if it ought to be a deep blue, so I wonder whether this refers to the deep blue 'cuit au four' and used on the santons here in Provence?

BTW, there is a breed of cat which is a rather lovely shade of grey-blue!!

it should be "centenial", not sentenial
Names of designer colors are somewhat arbitrary, I'd keep it as close as possible to the French
