Sounds totally Germanic. That's not how translation works: you translate the concept, not the words.

John, I've read all your comments you've given on our collegues' and my answers. In my opinion, your comments are outrages, and you are not the one to judge or critisize others in such a manner!!! Please, keep in mind that we are (all) professional translators for many years and although you may give your suggestions (in a polite manner), you are NOT to judge about someone's knowledge or origin. You are extremely impolite for an English gentleman and as a human being!!!! Instead of proving yourself by giving comments, you may give simply an answer and leave your comments aside. I have translation experience for over 12 years and any comment is welcome but not in such a manner of yours! Have a nice day !

That's probably the nearest. Would multidisciplinary subject not do it? You are not translating word-for-word, as some here tend to do, but English goes for simplicity, unlike German.
