Personne ne pénètre sur un site industriel sans avoir fait une "induction" (utilisé aussi en français) c.à.d. une présentation/formation plus ou moins approfondie selon la fonction de chaque personne; par exemple un employé qui travaille avec un chariot élévateur recevra une induction plus poussé et plus spécifique que celui qui travaille au magasin du site et qui ne fait que de remettre des pièces détachées selon demande. Il y a des inductions générales et des induction spécifiques; travaux en hauteur, espace confiné, induction, travaux sur eau, etc.
