only - an ideological veneer / a touch of ideology

My comment:

The word "chisguete" means a very small amount of a liquid, like a sip or a drip -or a little leak. However, it is very colloquial and totally and completely regional, not frequent at all in many Spanish speaking environments.

In my region we talk about "ideological plaster(ing)" to figuratively convey the very same idea. Hope it helps you.
