My comment:

toujours sans plus de contexte..., mais il pourrait s'agir de la tolérance vis à vis de l'inclinaison du faisceau par rapport au substrat, ou vis à vis du mouvement vertical entre la lentille et le substrat. Encore une fois bonne continuation, Véronique

However, the recording layer has a cover layer of just 0.1mm thickness. This reduces the spot degradation and enables the disc to achieve the same tilt margin (margin when the disc is tilted) as DVDs, with beam spots that are five times as large, thereby realizing a stable write/read performance.
