Powder to make flat water effervescent

My comment:

Mixture of powdered form of sodium bicarbonate, malic acid and tartaric acid

Idrolitina è una miscela di bicarbonato di sodio (E500), acido malico (E296) e acido tartarico (E334), tutti in forma di polvere.

Se preparata in fretta, era sgradevole come un purgante: il ”sale inglese”.

idrolitina® (effervescent powder for sparkling water)

My comment:

"Idrolitina" is the commercial name of a historical Italian product made by the "Ristora" Company (http://www.ristora.it/#/Prodotti-retail/Idrolitina/) which is used to obtain sparkling water by adding effervescent powder to natural spring water.

It is made of a mixture of sodium bicarbonate powder, malic acid and tartaric acid.

My references:

It is some way similar to this product, for its purpose and chemical composition: http://www.spipharma.com/product.php?id=1&prodtype=p
