My comment:

Keep it Simple

My comment:

Abrahams and Reavely proposed two methods to assign indirect costs to activities. (4) The first, called the Keep It Simple (KIS) approach, is used when precision is not overwhelmingly important. According to the authors, "It is in keeping with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' spirit of: It is much better to be approximately right than precisely wrong." Basically, the KIS method uses a single, sometimes seemingly unrelated basis to allocate indirect costs. The alternative is the full costing approach. This latter approach places a premium on accuracy by using individual activity bases to assign various components of indirect cost.

My comment:

Not actually a serious answer, but I needed something in that box. Can you provide more context? What is on the axes, for example? Is there an accompanying text? What is it about?
