Bin keine Englischspezialistin. Ich wuerde aber vermuten, dass es sich hier um eine Uebersetzung der italienischen Capelli d' angelo (Engelshaar) handelt. Das sind duenne Fadennudeln. Auch auf Griechisch heissen Fadennudeln (fuer die Suppe) "Engelshaar".
