My comment:

Metal plate relief must refer to the metal plate which supports the hinge and which is in relief, not flush with the toilet pan. Anyway, if my translation is not correct, you can always flush it down the toilet!!!

Sorry I think metal plate has to be tranlated by "fixation métal" not "plaqé métal" since they say the seat is made of bamboo powder.
