The King James translation of the Bible contains this translation for "Kol Dodi" of Song of Songs 2:8,5:2.

The expression originates in the Biblical love poem known in Hebrew as the Song of Songs and in English as the Song of Solomon, where "dodi" (my beloved) is used by the female heroine referring to her lover. One such verse (II:8 ""The voice of my beloved! Behold, he cometh, leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills") was set to music in modern times and is probably the song you mentioned.
