While my translation is true and accurate as the English version, the content in the English version is not accurate, because the Srilankans speak both Sinhalese and Tamil. In fact, Sinhalese is the mother tongue of the majority of the population.

The correct sentence could be, "They speak Tamil also in Sri Lanka."
