Ovi hrvatski obroci su opasni!

My comment:

It actually backtranslates to "These Croatian meals are dangerous" - I don't thing there is a common phrase in Croatian for what the "author" meant... in any case, it would sound unnatural...

Hrvatski obrok (jelo, rucak), ne moze proci a da se ne napraviti nered za stolom.

My comment:

Rachel, as you probably already know, Croatian language is far more descriptive then English. English is great economie in language wise. This is why the translations into Croatian are often longer then a source text. I choose an adverb for place (za stolom) in order to eliminate ambiguity of the source of the mess (it is not the mess in the meaning of disarrangement, disturbance, misrule... )

just a coment

My comment:

Wel... maybe it was just another of those 'All-Americans' who hold a fork with their RIGHT hand ...

Otherwise, Croatian meals do not tend to be 'messy' nor 'dirty' ... on the contrary ...

Let the writer stick with McDonald's tideness .. and nutritional values ...
