This is more "aires de grandeza" which is associated to how a person projects him/herself - it is, however, more often used to describe how others see that person... you'll never hear "aires de rey" to refer to a male character (a clear demonstration of male chauvinism).

I'd not translate it literally (queenly airs), but something like: "Now I'm going to knock you off your high horse" or now "I'm going to take you down a peg, your Majesty" (in a sarcastic tone) or something to this effect.
