Si un marque est une prestation et non un bien, on peut difficilement donner des echantillons. Dans ce cas je dirais une 'experience' au lieu d'un 'item' (article) et je crois que c;'est dans ce sens qu'il faut prendre le mot ici. C'est a dire, on vie la prestation du marque pour un bref moment. Du bon francais - a vous.

Notez que "experiences" est au pluriel et pas au singulier come vous l'avez recopié, brand items étant les (différents) objets ou produits de la marque en question.
