Rosa (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Medical

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

Context:

Clariscan gé 0,5 mmol/ml injectable boîte de 1 seringue préremplie de 15 ml.

Just don't get what the Gé means, is this just GE (as in GE Healthcare) in English?

[gé] generic

My comment:

CLARISCAN GE = gé is part of the commercial name, product label
(no translation required)

gé : "médicament générique" , i.e. generic medicament OR drug
Clariscan gé (acide gadotérique) est le premier générique du produit de contraste Dotarem.

GE Healthcare : this is the packager!
