My comments would be:
If we talk about subject as technical/engineering-pneumatic lung in meaning membrane.
If we talk about subject as medical termin-probably that is mistake and that is no wasy-pneumatic lung but probably pneumonia.
Can be mistake in translation.
More context would be helpful. :-)

Is it medical? For example, are we talking about a condition/disease? Mind you, lungs are 'pneumatic' by definition, because they take in air and expel it. Or is it a device for ventilating patients?
