You are right about the pronoun. in addition the speaker is a woman (vestida) but it looks so much like a reference to the famous saying (in French "l"habit ne fait pas le moine" ou "je ne vais pas me laisser tondre aussi facilement" ou encore "le loup n'est pas celui qu'on croit")
